Baking Made Easy: Bajan Sweet Bread: Vegan Style

Time: 10.30am – 11.15pm
Age: 10 – 14 (parents and younger siblings are welcome to join in)
This practical workshop introduces you to the art of baking the workshop is led by an experienced baker and entrepreneur.
The workshop will include:
· How to make cakes using quality ingredients
· How to use professional cake / baking equipment
· How to use everyday ingredients to make a vegan cake
· How to market and sell your cakes.

Please email firstname.lastname@example.org before 23 November if you would like to collect free basic ingredients and recipe so you can participate in the workshop.
If you prefer you can purchase the following ingredients yourself to take part in the workshop
200g Self rising Flour
150g Caster Sugar (provided)
½ Teaspoon Mixed Spice
130ml Soya butter Milk or Almond butter Milk (if not available add 1tbp of fresh lemon juice to Soya milk or normal milk and leave to sit for a couple of minutes)
½ Teaspoon of baking soda (provided)
37ml Olive Oil
1 Table spoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Mixed Essence
50g Desiccated Coconut
50g Glace Cherries
1 Fresh Lemon
