Workshop aim: Students will gain knowledge and skills that will enable them to:
Market a product, Set a simple action plan, Prepare a budget, sell products in a pop up shop, Start a micro business

Siobhan David- O'Dean, is a young budding Entrepreneur, who was born and raised in Hackney.
Siobhan has created a fantastic homemade hair product “Jsai” for natural afro hair using butters essential oils and carrier oils, which include antiseptic & antioxidant properties and vitamins A & E, which are a vital source for healthy hair and skin.
After attending Hackney Young People University (HYPU) Entrepreneur workshop with Maxine Boyce, Siobhan acquired the skills and confidence to package and market her product to a wider Audience. She is now excited about the opportunity to host her seminars to bring further awareness about her products and how to use them with amazing results
The summer camp includes a breakfast club and extended afternoon activities and offer a wide range of activities including Film making, Sports, Baking Students pick and choose between subjects and try their hand at whatever interests them the camp also incorporate a family fun day for siblings to join in. At the end of project, students are Presented with a certificates and have the opportunity to showcase their learned skills
This project allows other ways of learning our projects also connect with BME parents who can be more closely involved in their child’s education, without the alienation often felt within the mainstream education system. This week long project runs from 10 – 3pm

Students who attend our projects become achievers, when a student joins HYPU , their life changes in two to three weeks, it builds their confidence. They also meet students from different backgrounds and are tutored and mentored by professionals and entrepreneurs who they would not normally have access to.
Small Training Room for Hire
£45 per hr - (price includes Tea and Coffee)
The training room is ideal for a meeting or a workshop the room can accommodate 10 participants it has access to wifi, OHP a screen
